Brief Therapy

Brief, systemic, and strategic therapy is a non-normative and non-pathologizing psycho-relational approach. It offers communication procedures geared toward resolving problems presented by clients. Problems are addressed pragmatically rather than analytically. It is intended for anyone who wishes to address a personal, professional, or relational problem.

Part of the work is done in consultation. Another important part of the work is done outside of sessions in the client’s real life. In this way, the client improves their condition by taking an active role in changing the way they manage complex and delicate situations.

Brief systemic and strategic therapy was originally developed by the Palo Alto school and the Mental Research Institute (MRI) in California. Daria Tolstoy’s Brief Therapy practice follows the methodology and protocol developed in Europe by the Gregory Bateson Institute.

The practice offers individual and couples consultations,
either in person in Éclépens or online. Sessions can be held in French, English, or Swedish, depending on your preference.

The cost of a one-hour consultation is CHF 135.–. Payment is made on-site, either in cash or via TWINT. Please note that sessions are not covered by basic health insurance.

Executive Coaching

Individual growth is an ongoing process. Coaching is a powerful tool for advancing both professional and personal development. Creativity is often necessary to meet new and unexpected challenges and keep professionals on the path to sustainable progress.

A leader needs a solid foundation to withstand difficult organizational conditions. Companies fail for reasons that are often obvious from the outside but that insiders do not see because of their immediate proximity to day-to-day operations.

This coaching program helps senior executives conduct and manage themselves more effectively in relation to their potential, resources, challenges, and contexts. It facilitates the development of leadership skills with the goal of improving performance, effective action, goal achievement, and personal satisfaction.

The method focuses on strengths, emphasizing enhancement of what already works instead of focusing on what needs fixing. This process naturally fosters shifts in perspective, attitude, and behaviour.

The programme enables clients to develop leadership skills and achieve their full potential. Most of the time, it is an extraordinary source of motivation.
